  • How far in advance do I need to book my reservation?
    To ensure charter bus availability, it is best to book your charter bus as early as possible. This will allow you to choose from the largest selection of available equipment.


  • What is the process after my charter bus is reserved?
    After you reserve your bus, Black Diamond will send you a confirmation either by fax or email with your confirmation number and the complete itinerary for your trip based on the information you provided. After receipt of your confirmation, if you need to make changes, you may do so by contacting the account executive who set up your reservation.


  • Is smoking allowed during my trip?
    There is no smoking permitted on the coaches.


  • What type of deposit is required to book my trip?
    We require a valid credit card to confirm your reservation. There is no up front deposit required to complete your reservation. Payment in full with a check or credit card is required five (5) days prior to departure. A 3% service fee will be added for all Visa/Mastercard payments and 5% for payments processed with American Express.


  • What is the cancellation policy?
    Black Diamond understands situations may arise requiring the need to cancel or reschedule your trip. If this need arises, we respectfully request that you provide us with as much notice as possible. Transportation cancelled 48 hrs. or less from departure will result in a 50% cancellation fee. Any reservation cancelled 24 hours or less from time of departure will result in a 100% cancellation fee.


  • Are there any additional fees?

    • Parking fees at any venue that your group attends
    • Lodging for bus drivers on overnight trips
    • Driver's gratuities
    • National Park Entrance Fees
    • Alcohol Deposit - If requested for a charter. $400.00 cash deposit is required



  • Are handicap accessible buses available?
    Yes. Black Diamond can provide ADA buses when needed; however, the request must be made with the account executive at the time of the initial reservation to ensure availability.


  • What happens if my bus has a mechanical breakdown?
    Black Diamond has a 24/7 emergency dispatch. If your trip experiences any mechanical problem that is unforeseen a replacement bus will be dispatched to complete your trip.


  • How much insurance do you carry?
    Every charter bus that pulls out of the garage has a minimum of $5,000,000 of insurance coverage. If requested we can provide a certificate of insurance after a reservation has been completed.


  • Who is responsible for the driver's hotel room?
    The charter group is responsible for the drivers lodging on all overnight stays during the trip.


  • What amenities do the coaches have?
    All Black Diamond Coaches are equipped with a PA system, CD/DVD player, Stereo system, overhead storage,overhead reading lamps, reclining seats with armrests, and restroom on board.
